Freespirit Recreation recommends that the Evolution V2 is installed on separate cross bars or a roof rack/bed rack on top of your vehicle or truck bed.
It is important to use cross bars or a roof rack/bed rack that can handle over 175 lbs of dynamic load and has a weight capacity of minimum 750 lbs. The distance between the Evolution V2 Hard Shell Roof Top Tent and the roof rack should not exceed more than 1.5”

EVO V2 Standard
The interior width of the tent has been reduced to a minimalistic 47”. This is perfect for solo travelers or 2 persons who want a lighter tent without compromising comfort or 4-season capabilities. Despite the narrower width, you still get the full internal length of 81.5" to accommodate persons taller than 6ft.
EVO V2 XL Short
The short version of the Evolution V2 has been specifically developed as a response to your feedback demanding a high-end Hard Shell Roof Top Tent that can be mounted below the cab height on 6.5 ft (78-inch) truck beds, on SUVs with shorter rooflines and also perfectly fit mid-size hatchback crossovers.
Measuring 55” (W) x 76” (L) the interior dimensions of the tent has not been compromised, and the Evolution V2 Short is still a perfect fit for people under 6ft tall.
EVO V2 XL
If you are taller than 6ft or prefer more space to stretch out, we recommend you opt for the Evolution V2 XL version for maximum comfort.
This is the perfect choice for larger trucks and rigs. The interior dimensions of the tent has been maximized to an astonishing 55” (W) x 81.5” (L)
